     本文主要在介紹台灣研究中漸受本土學術界重視的平埔族群,及其研究成果在做為社會科學教育上的意義。文章重點首先在介紹平埔族群、平埔研究參與學科背景的介紹,再討論平埔研究在台灣現今強調多元文化觀點教育的發展方向,在提供本土實證歷史素材上的意義與價值。

FORMOSAN PLAINS AUSTRONESIANS AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE

Abstract

 

        The paper aims at introducing the Formosan Plains Austronesians, a subject which is gradually emphasized by the academia world in Taiwan, and discussing the significance of the research result related to the Formosan Plains Austronesians in the field of social sciences education. The paper starts with a brief introduction of the Formosan Plains Austronesians and the academic backgrounds participating the associated study. Then the paper turns to descant the value of the subject of Formosan Plains Austronesians in the contemporary social sciences education of Taiwan, focusing on the issues of multiculturalism.
